Nfl Betting Start Of The Regular Season

Betting

The NFL is the most popular sports league in America and the regular season begins just a couple of days from now. I’m going to be giving you some betting advise for the first week of games. If you have never bet on an NFL game before, it can be a little difficult if you do not know what you are doing. So the first thing you should know is the basics of football betting.

You can get a good start at the 토토사이with the verified and trustworthy services. The playing of the games is easy and simple for the players at the platform. You need to know everything about the slot and gambling games at the online platform. The meeting of the needs is possible.

Like most other sports, there are three basic bets to know: Point Spread, Moneyline and Total bets.

Point Spread

The Point Spread assigns one team as the favorite and one team as the underdog by a certain number of points. As an example, the Thursday night opener between Baltimore and Denver currently has the Denver Broncos as a 9 point favorite. This basically means that Denver is starting the game -9 to 0 as far as the spread goes.

You will see the sports betting line read like this: Baltimore Ravens +9 (-125) at Denver Broncos -9 (+105). The -125 means that you will have to bet $125 to win $100. The +105 means you will have to bet $100 to win $105. The opening spread for this line was 8.5; this means more people have been betting on Denver to move the line up by a half point.

I am reading this from the sports book Bovada. You will find different lines at different betting sites. I suggest that you do some line shopping, which you can learn about at nflbettinglines.org. If you are going to bet on Denver, you will want to find a sportsbook that has a line of 8.5 or less. If you are going to bet on Baltimore, you will want to find a spread of 9.5 or more.

I usually like to find the half point wagers so there is no possibility of a tie on your wager. As more people bet one way or another, you will see the point spread move up or down by a half point. If something unexpected happens, like the QB getting injured, you will see the point spread move by a full point or more.

Moneyline Bet

The moneyline wager is placed on a team to win the game straight up. You will be placing more money to win a smaller amount if you bet on the favorite and a smaller amount to win more money if you bet on the underdog. You won’t always find the moneyline bet offered for every game. This is because some teams are too heavy of an underdog for this bet to be offered.

There currently isn’t a moneyline offered for the opener. If there was, I would expect this bet to read like this: Baltimore Ravens (+350) at Denver Broncos (-420). You would need to wager $100 to win $350 for Baltimore to win straight up or $420 to win $100 for Denver to win the game.

Totals Bet

This is also known as the Over/Under bet. You are betting on the total number of points scored by both teams for the game. This wager often isn’t available until the day before or the day of the game. The reason is because the total can really be affected by a player injury or weather/field conditions.

If I was going to guess, I would guess that the Total for the opener is going to be around 44.5 points. I say this because both teams have good defenses, especially Denver; but both teams have missing defensive player (either injured, suspended or switched teams over the offseason).

If you are going to bet on the Over, the total points scored on the game would have to be 45 points or more in order for your wager to win. If you bet on the Under, the total points scored would have to be 44 points or less.
